How to add it to your website
WordPress
- Edit the page or post where you want the calculator.
- Add a Custom HTML block (click + and search "HTML").
- Paste the embed code and click Update.
Wix
- Click Add Elements, then Embed Code, then Embed HTML.
- Paste the code, then drag the box to size it. Use the heights in the table below.
Squarespace
- Add a Code block to the page.
- Paste the code and save.
Shopify, Webflow and other sites
Anywhere you can add custom HTML will work. Paste the code where you want the calculator to appear.

The small script at the end of the code resizes the calculator automatically, for example when the wide layout stacks on a phone. Some website builders remove scripts; if that happens the calculator still works, and if you see a scroll bar you can increase the height number instead.

Is it really free?
Yes. There's no sign-up, no fee and no ads inside the calculator. We only ask that you keep the small credit link.
Do I need to update the VAT rates?
No. The calculator loads from our site, so when UK rates change we update it once and every copy updates automatically.
Does it collect my visitors' data?
No. The calculations run in your visitor's browser and the amounts they type are not sent to us or stored. We only count which websites load the widget.
Will it slow down my site?
It's a small, light page that loads lazily, so it only loads when a visitor scrolls to it.
Can I change the colours?
You can choose light or dark. If you need a different colour to match your brand, get in touch.
